So how was June for you? Wet?!Goodness me I have never known a June like it! Tough month! Not only weather wise but it felt as if there was an intense feeling of change going on that o finger could be put on…So much so I for one suffered from sleeplessness and when I was sleeping my dreams were incredibly prophetic, so I found it a really hard month to ground and my waking life became pretty chaotic as a result!

Funnily enough as soon as Pluto squared Uranus on 24th I managed to start to ground! This square is like a clash of the titans, perhaps I for one are better once the dreaded moment has actually arised. I would be very interested to know how it was for you – I don’t think I am the only one who has been suffering these symptoms?!

This month Mars enters Libra on 3rd of July giving a much needed energetic boost for relationships – this may also be a bit of a shake up but nevertheless progress, on the same day we have the Full Moon in Capricorn so you may find that the first day of Mars going direct could bring in issues about change, fear, goals and security. This month’s YouTube Tarot Reading discusses this further

Uranus in Aries starts to go retrograde on 13th, so we may find ourselves going back over the things that have shaken and waken us up over the last few weeks quite intensely, and the very next day Mercury follows suit!

Yes it’s time again for good ol’ Mercury Retrograde, this time in Leo. This will add to the energy going on in our heads about getting to the core of our purpose here in life, discovering our light and creating our life so it will shine. As Leo rules the heart and Mercury retrograde brings up things from the past we could also really see the heartstrings being tugged by past loves.

With all Mercury retrogrades there always seems to be a panic to get everything signed sealed and delivered before the deadline of it changing direction. And although it may well be good to be aware that that Mercury Retrograde can cause havoc when embarking on new projects, purchases or journeys I do think there needs to be a balance struck and the problem arises not with Mercury going retrograde but when we as a human race begin to panic and change our plans accordingly.

The universe isn’t there to be manipulated, its there to be trusted (and that trust means trusting it will give you what you need – not necessarily what you want). So if you have to sign that deal or make that journey then practice doing it whilst releasing expectation and bracing the adventure of the unknown rather than worry and dread (this maybe a particular practice for Londoners with The Olympic games brewing at this time too!)

Remember that retrogrades are great periods for reviewing – with Mercury we are going back over old thought processes and communications. Its a great time to connect in with old friends and to review any past works and research you have done. (Mercury turns direct on 8th August when it will be time to put all the learnings we gathered into practice).

New Moon in Cancer on July 18th shows a beautiful new beginning for our emotions, Cancer is ruled by the Moon so this feels like a powerful emotional clearing. Three days after that we have the Sun moving into Leo which is also it’s ruler, happy and hopefully sunny times abound whilst the Lion is in his Sunthrone, benevolent leadership and time to get out there and play!

All in all July feels to me as if there as some big shake up’s and reviews on the scene, but as we get to the end of it the Sun may well just come out – so remember if it all feels a bit like hard work – it will be worth it in the end.

The day I received an email request from Kim Arnold to speak at The UK Tarot Conference I was the heifer that jumped over the moon.

The day I received an email stating I would be speaking on the same day as Rachel Pollack and Juliette Sharman -Burke, I was cowering under my coffee table.

Some need for Buddhist philosophy I think. Come on Tiffany where’s your centre?

Well for a good few months it went on holiday and I wondered if it had bought a one-way ticket. You see what I know from Tarot I learnt through my own intuition and experience. Okay maybe there were a few books and courses, but they were very few and far between. Suddenly I found myself all too painfully aware, that what came along with such a strong platform to the Tarot community, was such a strong opening to be judged as under competent in my academic knowledge. I could be “exposed” and people might judge that I didn’t deserve to be there, that I was a fake.. Yadda Yadda Yadda….

People used to say to me I bet you have tons of Tarot books on your shelf – but no, I had three, until I was asked to do the conference and then they mysteriously multiplied like gremlins into twenty- three! My husband would groan at yet another daily amazon delivery, along with the floorboards under my bookcase.

I was desperately trying to swot up but trying it was, I couldn’t concentrate for love nor money. After months of struggling I realised the obvious, that I was not going to find what I was looking for in someone else’s connection!

Tired of feeling blocked and having an empty lesson plan, I shut the books and sat there with a blank piece of paper. I didn’t know what I was going to write but I just started writing, and like the hankies in The Magician’s hat it just kept coming and coming, seemingly from nowhere. Of course! How could I forget that this is what works for me?

Twenty minutes later there it was staring me in the face, fully formed. I had finally met the lesson and the message. The lesson was all about embodying The Fool, but to do that truly, the new kid in the block (moi) has to embody The Fool (and I mean literally).

The things channelled through to me are amazing, but throwing myself so far out of my comfort zone it would make the Olympic long jump winner look like a grasshopper. Not that I am being derogatory to grasshoppers, they are awesome in their grass hopping zenness. For all I know maybe they could maybe competently compete in the Olympics. So, I double-checked in with spirit and asked if they were serious and the response came back as … “DEADLY”

I told a performing author friend of mine all about it and said that it was risky. Her response: “Of course it’s risky- its The Fool! You have to step off the cliff!”

Me: “So I need to trust it then?”

Friend: “What? Trust that spirit know more than you Tiffany? Really?”

Me: “Okay, I get it, I need to have the balls”

Friend: “The ovaries darling, the ovaries”

I then shared this with my amazoned out husband who re-emphasised that if I got the message from inside/source the only risky thing was not trusting it! I responded that the audience might not like it and he said: “I am sure Jesus said that to God all the time!”

Okay, so that was me told for the third time, no getting out of that one then. Even if I do try to convince myself it’s just because he just doesn’t want to house anymore of Amazon’s castoffs!

I have had so many lessons around trusting spirit. One lesson cost me £20 under 4.5 million. Yes that was for compromising with spirit on the lottery numbers they gave me, by putting three on one line and three on another! It was just way too outrageous for me to believe that I had actually been given the numbers! I believe I was not meant to win, (although the friends trying to get me into a syndicate weren’t so sure!) It was about the lesson of trusting spirit, and still I wobble a lot, I guess that’s the training called life. But is this the moment the training is peaking for? It certainly feels that way.

Suddenly I realized, how could anyone expose me if I’m just being me? What would there be to expose?

In that I came home to myself. There was a knock at the door and I opened it… To my centre, who waltzed through it like nothing had happened…

Wowzers! How was your darling month of May?
What with the Scorpionic Supermoon hailing the Retrograde of Venus and the solar eclipse in Gemini
It felt like we were having to go deep, deep within and confront all the rotting structures in our lives, in order to take a logical assessment of where our hearts lie, and what action we need to take to be the change we want to see! Phew!One thing is for sure, it feels to me as if the energies are stepping up and the unieverse has had enough of our self deceptions and dramas.
As eclipses always come in pairs we have the full lunar eclipse in Sagittarius at 12:11 on 4th.
Is this a time where what what was powerfully seeded by the combination of Gemini and Taurus at the solar eclipse on 21st really starts to make its presence seen and felt? Find out in this month’s youtube Tarot reading.

I think it is interesting that we have been given two bank holidays at this time – one of which being the Queen’s jubilee. I can’t help feeling that the deep and important change in our own inner structures from the solar eclipse ,will start to be exposed and mirrored by outer rotting structures starting to be seen to change around this time. Interestingly enough Neptune goes stationary to prepare a retrograde in its own sign of Pisces in 11th house of community, also at this time. This feels like an important “Hanged Man” message. The Hanged Man is the Tarot card associated to Pisces, where we are asked to look deeply at what needs to be sacrified in order to go forward, remember this is in the house of community -although this may affect personal friendships and communities,  this feels like society in general is also included.  Interestingly enough The Hanged Man makes his presence felt more than once in this month’s youtube Tarot reading.

Just in case we didn’t get the message on 4th, Chiron (The Wounded Healer) also makes a stationary stop in prepartion to go retrograde (also in Pisces) on the 11th at 11:11pm (Eastern time) in 12th house (Pisces own natural house). Chiron to me feels very similar to Pisces, all themes to do with karma and spirituality.I feel this is very signifcant, especially as it has so many elevens going on.  It seems we have to stand still enough to feel the pain, face our wounds and start clearing the karma.
On Tuesday 19th we have the new moon in Cancer at 16:02, somehow I feel relieved at this, like it will be heralding in an emotional clearance, but in a gentle soothing nurturing way. Not sure the Tarot Reading agrees with me on this one though!

On Thursday 21st the sun reaches its peek at the Summer solstice and the nights begin to draw in! Lol! I have to say I can count on my fingers how many sunny days I have witnessed this year. The seasons have felt merged to me, like a blanket of luke warm greyness. I can’t help but feel what with all thats going on that there is some kind of smokescreen and we are waiting for it to be revealed- will the solstice be the time?

On 25th slow moving Saturn in Libra goes direct, this takes place also in Libra’s own house of relationships. Maybe, just maybe we can start to feel like we might just be getting somewhere – albeit slowly – but surely.

Followed on 27th Venus goes direct after its very significant retrograde through Taurus/Gemini, after looking at past patterns in relationships and attachments to things we love, we should be able to start to see some change in our security patterns.

All in all I wonder if June will be a clearer time for us all. It feels to me as if we have been asked to a lot of deep work on ourselves, getting real, true and responsible, and now its time to start walking in the path that has cleared.

AstroTarotChannel for May 2012

Well it’s quite hard to feel lusty right now, with the gales and rains coming on harder than the firey passions of new life, even though only two days ago we were driving and my husband shouts out “he’s sh***ing her!”
“What?” Shocked at what he was saying and implying on the street in broad daylight!
‘The seagull!” He replied!
Which got me thinking – why is it that animals like gulls are only frisky at Beltane?! I voiced this and my hubby’s opinion is because they don’t have central heating! But it’s not exactly warm out! Answers on a back of a postcard please?!
Well this month’s Astro Tarot Channel is short and sweet Really the Youtube reading for this month says it all so much better than I can here.
The highlight to concentrate on this month seems to be Monday 21st, when we have a Solar eclipse is in Gemini, with of course the Sun conjunct, but also part of a bigger line up with Jupiter and Gemini’s ruler Mercury all in conjunction but in Taurus. So this feels like a mega strong time for being able to not just have strong insights but actually plant them into the earth and watch them grow.
Venus is also in Gemini for this month showing a real love of ideas and communication and Mars is in Virgo – an earth sign but also ruled by Mercury, so again we have the energy to make these ideas a reality on the planet.
With Neptune and Chiron  continuing on in Pisces we are really getting to the heart of what hurts and helping it to heal, Saturn in Libra shows us working hard on relationships, Pluto shaking the foundations of our planet in Capricorn and Uranus in Aries – the revolution is here! In last month’s AstroTarotChannel Astrology write up I spoke about almost not being able to grasp March’s energy apart from it feeling like a cross over point.

Then when I did the Tarot youtube part we saw a lot about the polarity of life, relationships, ups and downs, sharing etc…

I thought this would only be for March and that come April, Mercury turning direct and the spring equinox, we would all be making a giant leap forward…Hmmm. Now I am feeling like spring may have only half sprung, but that could be me just always expecting instant happenings and forgetting it doesn’t usually work that way- even with the so called world and time speeding up thing!

Last month we had a need to be very aware of what our actions were crating for us on a karmic level and that theme continues. Last month it was because of the Piscean and Arien energy. This month we still have an emphasis on those energies, along with a full moon in Libra to boot. The Full Moon in Libra can highlight to us where we are not in balance or not being true to ourselves and therefore honest with others – usually. But what with Venus squaring Neptune on the same day we may not be seeing clearly at all, and with Mercury turning direct only 2 days before we may end up being a little too overbearing with our reactions before we have got our facts straight.

Wanting to get things off our chest and attain peace of mind may just bring more conflict at this time, so remember to slow down, take a deep breath and ride through your own emotions until you are sure you have got it all straight. We also have a little warning on a similar on 25th When Mercury in Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn. This will be felt on a worldly level as well as a personal level, but more in the area of what you want to acheive in the world. Inbetween this time we also have Mars going direct.

All in all there is a feeling of wanting to get ahead because of feeling so delayed and maybe frustrated lately, there is also a feeling of wanting to push our own agendas after a lot of compromise, but really its about striking the right balance slowly and surely. Pushing our own agendas too hard can undo all the great co-operative work that seems to have been in the making last month. AstroTarotChannel MARCH 2012

Welcome to the AstroTarotChannel for March 2012. I feel that March this year is harder to tune into than any others so far, so I find myself thinking about what March means to me…

This St Patricks Day (a few days before Mother’s day) will mark the 14th anniversary of my baby girl’s passing. The vicar read about apple blossoms falling from the tree because they were never meant to become apples. Yes, March has a clearing and purity energy about it. This leads me on to think about my dear father figure’s poem, written by his hands nearly two years before his passing in 1999. I feel he is asking me to share it with you and I will trust that, as he is one of my biggest spiritual teachers, both on and of the earth, as my daughter is too…

Death cannot diminish me.
Nor do I need an epitaph on scroll or stone.
Their value lasts no longer than the minds of those who knew me.
Rather would I remain in your memory.
Do remember the things we have done and achieved together.
These both great and small have been truly wonderful.
What reward may lie elsewhere I no not.
Life itself for me has been reward enough.
Even with its trials and tribulations, love, joy and sorrows.
Life is still the most wondrous of all gifts.
Look for my joy in the sparkle of the sunshine after the rain.
My faith has always been in the creation of beauty.
My hope you will see in the first snowdrop heralding a new beginning.
My charity will be in the answered call for mercy on a stormy night.
My love and high regard for you will be no less than it ever was.
The key to our very being.
Regardless the universe will continue to unfold like a flower.

Of course I had a good sob whilst typing this out, feeling how much I miss my loved ones in spirit. As my dear friend Krishna Surroy has said on his father’s passing in February: We may know we stay connected, but we mourn for the physical, as it has such a great power.

I feel nostalgic and I am aware that the Piscean New Moon today is very much apart of how I am feeling. But this blog is not about the Piscean New Moon on 21st Feb, but March.

For me March does feel like the cross over time, where the New Year becomes consolidated and those souls who aren’t meant to be a part of this year, well its around this time that they cross. March for me, feels like the end of the old and the beginning of the new and I feel that John’s poem catches the essence of that cyclical energy.

So if there was a Tarot card for March, personally I would assign it Death. With its clearing and making way for the change, the new spring to blossom.

So are we going to need to be patient with our emotions this month? May we feel nostalgic?

Well Mercury (communication) and Mars (Will) and Saturn (Karma) are all retrograde throughout most of March. This could see us really going over all our thoughts and how they are the key to our actions, creating our lives and karma. Perhaps we may feel the weight of remorse, or regrets of our past actions. But it seems only in order to learn and progress for a better future.

Mercury is retrograde from 12th March to 4th April. People can get very fear –based about Mercury retrograde. Fearing travel, communications, signings and purchases, as all these things can go “wrong” during this time. Only last night in a class I was holding did someone speak about how a person wouldn’t have a certain conversation with them during the last Mercury retrograde! I need to point out here that doing this is a lack of trust in the harmony of the universe. Perhaps instead of rushing to get everything done by 12th this month, or panicking that you haven’t, instead of trying to control the universe (futile!) Try trusting that whatever happens in the natural flow and timing of the retrograde is meant to.

Yes retrogrades are perfect for reviewing and going back over the past. You may find that you hear from past friends, (which can be nice!) or that old communication patterns come back up, which can be not so nice if it leaves you feeling like you thought you had managed to clear a certain dynamic and its there in your face again. If this happens try seeing it as just a deeper layer coming up for excavation, not that you haven’t shifted at all, far from it.

Mercury goes retrograde 10 days after it entered Aries (Action –ruled by Mars), and after one day of being retrograde it re-enters Pisces. This in itself has a very similar message to that of the collective retrograde motion. It seems we have to act for a little, and then we are pulled back to review the spiritual and karmic retributions of our actions.

Mars (ruler of Aries) continues to be retrograde all the way through March. It is retrograde in the analytical sign of Virgo (ruled by Mercury!) showing the close links between our thoughts and actions.

Saturn continues to be retrograde in Libra (fairness and relationship) throughout March, to me Saturn feel’s linked to Virgo, although that is not recognised publicly. Saturn feels serious, dutiful and dedicated, like that of the Virgin.

So I see that the retrogrades are working together for a very powerful wake up shift in our consciousness about how we think and act in our lives. Which to be honest feels like a very strong theme generally this year so I am not surprised.I am however very interested to see how the sky giants are really pulling together for this.

On 8th we have full moon in Virgo, when we may get very heady and nostalgic indeed. Go easy on yourself and others.

The passage of the Sun mainly through Pisces and then into Aries on 20th is helping us to illuminate our spiritual consciousness, so we may act with awareness.

On 22nd the new moon is in Aries, this may feel like a welcome relief, like we are beginning to really break into the dawn of spring, this moon also marks the spring equinox.

So remember the darkest hour is before the dawn.

Happy Christmas one and all!

Phew! I don’t know what this week (beginning 20th) has been like for you guys but I certainly felt Mercury revving up for its pending illusion of moving backwards through the universe/ Yes Mercury went on it’s retrograde rampage on 23rd, when (by the evening) I personally felt some sense of order and sanity start to come back in. Mercury continues on its backwards drill until 14th December. But I don’t expect to see improvements until 20th. For two reasons:

1) Mercury goes into ‘storm” for a few days either side of changing direction. This storm is like an intense introduction and exit from the flavour of the retrograde. Most people think phew! Mercury retrograde ends on 14th and I can just relax and go forward- sorry guys, best to take it slowly for a few days after.

2) Venus goes direct in Aquarius on 20th helping us all to restore some harmony to humanity!

Oh dear, I do sound like the bearer of bad news don’t I?! Let me explain a bit more. Mercury is the planet of communication, it rules that motion of backwards and forwards, so things like travel also come under Mercury. Mercury goes retrograde three times a year for three weeks. This is when Mercury “appears” to be moving backwards through the sky.

This means forward motions here on the daily planet can seem like they are going against the flow and yes, they are! So go with the flow- that flow is the inner form of communication. Communication is turning back on itself. You may find that things that lie beneath the surface, or that you thought were over aren’t as they rear up again. This can make us feel quite deflated. If this happens to you, please take heart. All that’s happening is that a time to go even deeper and do another level of healing on past issues is being presented. Mercury is known as the cosmic joker and it can be challenging to keep your sense of humour in a retrograde- but the message there is not to forget the brighter side of life, try anything you can to laugh at what’s going on- as long as you are heading the message and working through it you deserve to have fun along the way.

So just to clarify- Mercury retrograde is not a good time for starting anything new, signing contracts, starting new jobs, travels, buying houses/cars etc…
Please don’t panic if you need to do these things in this period. We are not meant to manipulate our life to live our life. Astrology reflects the natural order and flow of life, the information is to help us understand why things might be happening at a certain time. Take comfort in that there will be a message/gift in the experience in this time for you.

The best things to focus on during Mercury Retrograde are things beginning with “re”: Research, review, renovate, regressions and general going back over things. The outcome of which should be a clearer, crisper way forward.

Particularly this month as Mercury is retrograde in it’s ruling sign Gemini. This gives the flavour a double scoop of communication ice cream. If that’s not enough we also see a full Moon lunar eclipse in Gemini on 10th- and Uranus (the planet of sudden insights and in Aries – the fastest sign in the zodiac!) also turning forward ont that date PHEW! Expect a lot of things to come to light. This eclipse seems to be the pinnacle of the retrograde, reaching the depths and coming up with the best catches to bring to the surface ready for the beginning of the forward motion on 14th…

On a lighter note Jupiter the happy-go-lucky planet of indulgence turns direct in Taurus (which also loves indulgence!) on Christmas day! It seems all this spiritual, mental and mental work should pay off for a very hearty feast of celebration on a lot of fronts just in time for christmas- just watch that waistline! -note to self!
